My little book 'Five' gets featured in various places on the web!

I'm very proud that my little hand-made book 'Five' has had some nice mentions on some great websites recently.

If you don't already know Book By Its Cover... it's an absolutely beautiful website run by Julia Rothman in New York. It features amazingly illustrated and designed books of every kind, categorised into groups such as 'childrens' 'hand-made' 'comics' 'fine art' and 'sketchbooks.' It's a real pleasure to see my book there: www.book-by-its-cover.com

There was also a very nice feature by illustrator Jo Fallon (www.jofallon.co.uk) on the great illustration site Ape on the Moon. In that one you can see my workspace where I cut, sew and stick my copies of Five! www.apeonthemoon.com

Illustrator Jonathan Woodward also asked me to write a guest post on his great website www.zero2illo.com - The post goes into all the details of how my collaborator Masha and I went about creating our book from concept to print. There will be a second part to this article coming soon, detailing how we went about the second stage of our book project... promotion, distribution to bookshops, launch etc. Now I just have to write it...

  1. I was particularly interested in the guest post when you describe how you got round the self publishing stigma by emphasising the craft aspect and going for high quality.
